Did you see it? Check with your sixth grader to order shirts! Many of our sixth grade parents are working hard to make this event a success! Thank you!
Thank You for the Birthday Wishes!
Thank you so much to the 6th grade families for the beautiful flowers, wine, candy, coffee, and oodles of cards! This was a wonderful way to be welcomed back into class after being home sick with the flu. It most definitely brought a smile to my face. Thank you.

Language Arts
sWe enjoyed Literature Circle presentations. The students worked hard creating presentations that were engaging, informative, and creative. We had Ferris wheels, mountains, videos, skits, boats, posters, and more. Not only did they how off their creativity, but they really did a nice job sharing information with the class as well.
We have started our next class novel, Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbit. This is always a class favorite and the students seem to be really enjoying it already. This is a book that looks at the idea of immortality. With this topic comes many wonderings and deep discussions.

We have moved right along from Chapter 15, Learning About World Religion: Hinduism to Chapter 16, Learning About World Religion, Buddhism. It is important to note that we are looking at religions through a historical lens and only touch on the how these religions came into being.
