Social Studies
A reminder that Chapter 26 test corrections are due on Monday. Test corrections require that you write out the question and the correct answer on a separate piece of binder paper. The original test must be returned along with the corrections.
The students are working hard, very hard, on creating their ancient Greek presentations and building our three-day ancient Greek event. Ancient Greek Days will begin on Monday, May 23 and end at noon on Wednesday, May 25. Students will be sending out requests for help by the middle of next week. They will need help with providing food for our agora, food for the feast, and parent volunteers to help run our class Olympics. All students are to wear togas over shorts and a t-shirt on Wednesday, May 25.

I really enjoyed listening to the students discuss Tuck Everlasting during our Socratic Seminar. They really delved deep into the significance of life and death and the symbolism that Natalie Babbit used throughout the novel. We will be watching the movie, but this is on hold until after our Greek Days.
